Question
Well what if that light wasn't really there,does that mean that GOD didn't hear me or something?

Answer
Well, I suppose we could end up second-guessing everything that we might not fully understand; however, I would rather err on the positive side. By that I mean - my Bible tells me that God is light -we can find that in 1 John 1:5:  "This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all." If you recall, a few messages ago I mentioned that our God is not one of confusion. Satan wants us to doubt everything. As long as he (Satan) can keep us from focusing on the reality of things, that is, that God is wanting to communicate with us and give us the peace that only He can give us, then Satan will be satisfied. However, we know that Satan is the author of lies and confusion. Therefore, if you sense a peace when you are communicating with God, then don't let Satan steal that from you. The one thing you can do to strengthen yourself so that Satan can't keep discouraging you is to concentrate on reading God's Word. By studying His Word you can be better prepared when doubt tries to creep in. Prayer also is not ignored by our Lord. He tells us to pray without ceasing. There is no purer form of communication than praying with our Lord.
