Is masterbation a sin? How could you stop it?

I have to say that it would be considered lust and yes it would be a sin. I would also have to say on the other hand that it something that most guys would say that they had done at one time in their life. If you want to stop from doing it then you have to try very hard not to think lustful thoughts about any girls or women. I have also found that if you try hard not to put yourself into a situation that you are exposed to movies and magazines that would make you have lustful thoughts this will help. This is a subject that you need to speak to you father about. It may be uncomfortable but if you tell him how you feel I am sure that he will help you and be there for you. The Bible tells us that our bodies are a temple for the Holy Spirit and our thoughts and actions should reflect that.
