Christianity --Youth Issues/Gabby, how are you doing with this?

QuestionOk I've been pondering around for the past couple months on the subject of God. I have a problem believing in God. Because all the stuff I have learned in science has thrown me into a world where God doesn’t exist. And it was really intense during the Space chapter. I asked too many questions about it as in: But what about evolution? Evolution is a total and complete fake isn’t it Mr. Kerr? Are you an atheist? Stuff like that and my science teacher usually stutters on those subjects. But he is usually “intrigued” by my questions as he says. But he won’t answer them when I ask about God related stuff. And then he goes on with the rest of the lesson and im left clueless.
But I find it easier myself to believe that after you die you don’t go anywhere. You just…die. Nothing happens and nothing will. And I don’t just want to believe in god because I was told to, because everybody around me is. I want to truly believe in God for the right reasons. But what are the right reasons? See those are the kind of questions I have. How do I deal with God-related subjects in science?
Like a couple of weeks ago on a test I was a little confused on a part of it. It said: Explain the basics of the Big Bang Theory. I put “ Edward Norton noted that the universe was expanded and thus purposed that at one time all matter had been in the same place before exploding outward…”and I forgot the rest of that part, but below that I put: “But of course Mr. Norton could not explain from where all the material came from in the first place. Even though the laws of science say that it would have had to came from somewhere...” And my teacher called me up to talk to him about it. And he asked me to explain my answer. And I tell him, “The First Law of Thermodynamics says nothing comes from nothing. So evidently there has to be some kind of “God” out there. Isn’t it scientifically impossible that there’s always been a bunch of matter already floating around that just spontaneously exploded into a universe?” He was surprised by my answer. Then he went on explaining a series of things that my brain couldn’t comprehend. (I’m only 13)
Is God really real? If so is science fake? Is it some inevitable fake that everybody has believed because it’s the only explanation for the Alfa and the soon to come, Omega? Has one ever showed proof that Norton was wrong? Has anyone ever proved that God/Jesus exists? Can you still believe in science and believe in God?
Sorry about all these questions but I’m so confused about it. But i do have one question that always bugs me inside. If God has a plan for everybody to do something...and what not. Does he plan for Atheists (nom-believers) to go to hell?
Please and thank you
AnswerDear Gabby,
Just looking through my allexperts page and wanted to send you a note to ask how things are going - ? I hope school is starting out okay, and that you're feeling more resolved about some of the issues we talked about earlier. I'd love to hear from you if you get a minute!
Sincerely,
SM
