Christianity --Youth Issues/Holy Communion

Question
Can youth take communion?

Answer
ABSOLUTELY!!  The point, in Communion, is whether or not the individual has a real understanding of what they are doing -- That the bread and wine/juice represent the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ.  No one, no matter how old or young they are, should take communion if they haven't first asked Jesus into their heart, to forgive their sins, and make them a new person inside and out.    Age is not the issue.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young. But set an example for the believers in faith, life, purity, and speech....."
(I/II Timothy)

Keep your chin up, and keep your focus on the One who was on the cross!!

Love,
Susan

I have been in 'youth groups' and helped out with them, and have worked with youth in other areas as well (in a school setting). Many kids and youth have felt comfortable opening up to me. I am very real and open.
