ive been a christian and understand about my body being a temple. but if i get a nose piercing or belly is that wrong? i can understand that ears are okay. in the bible i dont remember excactly where but there is a scripture where Gods says "i pierced your nose and called you beautiful" i think its in ekeliziactics (sorry about spelling) but my mother tells me that God was saying it as a spiritual thing, is that correct? i dont want to do anything that will displease God so help me out. thanks

Hi Anna,

Nose piercings are a cultural thing.  In Bible times, it was considered to be a mark of beauty.  Today most see it as a mark of rebellion.
You have to decide which it is.


In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
Isa 3:19  The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
Isa 3:20  The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
Isa 3:21  The rings, and nose jewels,
