Hi, My question is that my friend is 16 years old, but shes in love with a 28 year old. Her father has told her to stop talking to him which she has, but shes said once shes 18 that she wants to be with him. She also made a promise to marry him or marry no one else and he made the same promise to her. But shes always saying that she goes by the bible and she says the bible doesn't mention anything about age in their what so ever. Now she does say he's a good guy or she guarantees it but i don't really know. Plus she thinks this is gods will but nothing has happened to make it better yet though. Now should i let this happen or should i do something about it and is it right period?

Thanks for this great question.  Your friend is correct that there are no age limits in the Bible, but there are clear warnings about listening to your father.

Pro 4:1  Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
Pro 4:2  For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
Pro 4:3  For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
Pro 4:4  He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
