Question
Hello i'm 17 and the girl ive been talking to for about 4 months is same age. when we meet we hit it off so well, everything was so perfect for months. we both really like each other but wanted to focuse more on college. shes going to a christaion college in oklahoma and im goin to mine in maryland. we havent gone out but we both have strong feelings for eachother. i honestly love this girl i belive everyday i pray to god for her to be in my life. ive never really had a girlfriend. the issue is that she is very into her christianity and she went to church one day and the prophet told her not by name the boy she is seeing will destroy her life. (which she thinks is me)now when she told me this she was very upset. we seem perfect for each other. after we meet up and talked about it she was not wanting me to go. but she did tell me she wnted god in herlife way more than me. shes going off to college now i jus need help figuring out if we are going to work out later in life. do you think that if its not meant to be now it will later in life with her? and i haventtalked t  her since about three weeks ago. also our prom pics she had up she took them off. does this mean shes trying to forget about me

Answer
It took me six years to get the girl I believe that God had for me and so I understand where you are and I understand what your friend is going through as well. So I will sum it all up like this. If you really love then don't date her...Just be the best friend you can be. don't worry about anything else. If it is of God it will happen in God's timing not yours. Patience is the key here.  I WON'T say it will be easy but I WILL say it is needed. I was turned down twice before she told me that she would date me and the 2 weeks after that she told me she wanted to get married. God brought about that which He told me He would. So If you really believe that she is the one for you "wait for her". Don't push the issue.

I hope this helps you out.  If you need anything else ask a follow-up question

Daniel
