alright, so here is my issue, i am 15. i have a really good friend and he is a few years older than me, and we have gotten closer lately, we are not dating, but everytime we go out together he always kisses me, and i do kiss him back, but is it wrong for us to be making out if we arent really dating? and what would god think about that? i have a purity ring, and we are not having sex or anything. and we are not planning to. am i doing okay right now?

Hi Megan-

Thanks for writing.  It's a good question you ask, and it's good that you ask it when you're just making out and not more.  Kissing at age 15 is ok in my book.  Making out?  Not so much.  Also, when you say your friend is a few years older, is that 17 or is it 18 or 19?  Going out with an older guy, you should be really careful, as he is probably more experienced than you and could possibly start pressuring you for more.  I'm not saying he will or that you will, but you just need to be aware of that dating a guy that's a "few" years older than you.  You might want to stick to guys your age.
