Christianity --Youth Issues/Quick Question

Question
I read on the net the following and need to know if it is true. Especially the last portion.
As you will see in the way these verses are worded, they will specifically tell us that no one can come to Jesus to receive His gift of eternal salvation unless God the Father first starts to draw that person to Him. And then it says that no one can say that Jesus is Lord unless it is done "by" the Holy Spirit.

That no one can say Jesus is Lord? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. regards, Mr. Stroud

Answer
What is the reference?  Is it from scripture?  I'm not familiar with it.

And, I'm not Mr. Stroud - didyou send the question to the wrong person?

Tyler - I found the verse in question, and I suppose you could interpret it the way you said:

1 Corinthians 12:1  And now, dear brothers and sisters, I will write about the special abilities the Holy Spirit gives to each of us, for I must correct your misunderstandings about them.
2  You know that when you were still pagans you were led astray and swept along in worshiping speechless idols.
3  So I want you to know how to discern what is truly from God: No one speaking by the Spirit of God can curse Jesus, and no one is able to say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

What I think it is saying is that a non-believer would not be able to say Jesus is Lord, or at least not believe it, unless they've been touched by the Holy Spirit.  And that adds another dimension to the question, as to whether the touch of the Holy Spirit is what is meant by "born again".  But what you said, "no one can come to Jesus to receive His gift of eternal salvation unless God the Father first starts to draw that person to Him. " is obviously true, because He calls ALL of us closer to Him, right?  Isn't that why God sent Jesus?  To evangelize the whole world and bring all the sinners back to God?  That's what I believe.
