Question
why does God let there be such awful diseases that make people suffer so much...such as cancer and stuff.  I just don't understand why we can't all die peacefully.  I mean I understand that we will appreciate things more and stuff but isn't there some other way to do that?  Why didn't he all create us to appreciate everything already...he has the power, he could have made us all perfect so why didn't he? If we were all perfect there would be no wars, or negativity and such.  Does he like to see us suffer?  Please help!  thanks

Hi Misskitty,

Thank you for this interesting question.  God did create man perfect.  He also gave Adam and Eve a free will.  They chose to sin.  When they did, they fell under the curse of sin which was pain, disease, and death.  All of creation is under that curse now, but Jesus will someday break us free from that curse.
