My boyfriend has a sock fetish. I often argue with him that it's sinful because I
view it as nothing but lust. As far as I know, fetishes aren't addressed in the
bible, but to me it's common sense that it falls under lust and is therefore
wrong. What do you think?

Hi Michala,

Thank you for this great question.  It seems as though you two are not married, therefore any kind of sexual relationship, be it conventional, or fetish oriented is sinful.

Hebrews 13:4
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

If, within the boundary of marriage, you share a certain preference as you both relate to one another, this is part of the gift of marriage.  It does not sound like this is the case, therefore you should avoid ANYTHING that brings any kind of sexual arousal now.
