Question
I have a concern about me ever going to heaven. I go to church every Wednesday and Sunday morning and evening. The truth is I have a boyfriend and he is the Pastor's son and sometimes he distracts me from listening to God's word. I have confirmed him many times about it and somehow it is as if he does not listen to me. I am afraid God is upset with me and I am also afraid I will lose my boyfriend. What do i do?

Answer
Hi Alicia,

Thank you for this great question.  I am very sorry for my late response.  It is natural if you have a boyfriend to be distracted from time to time.  Perhaps it would be wise to sit with girls during church and then spend time with your boyfriend during youth group and other times.  Tell him that what is going on is too important to miss... no matter what the cost.

Mat 5:29  And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Mat 5:30  And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

I hope that this helps you.
