Question
I have very conservative parents, my Dad's a southern baptist preacher, and my mom teaches at a christian school. I'm a virgin, and intend to stay that way till marriage,but I noticed a while ago, that while watching a normal sex scene in a movie, I was... bored. I'm 16, and I'm pretty sure that's not the usual response to such scenes. I also noticed that while watching a scene with barking orders, firm demands, exc. that I was instantly aroused.. I just came out to my mom as a masochist and a submissive. She's apprehensive, but understanding.
My Dad, on the other hand, knows about my attraction to dominant males, and jokes around with me, but only thinks about the practice of BDSM in a very stereotypical way, and thinks of it as "Destroying the temple of God"
I'm just trying to find out if this is an "ungodly" or "impure" thing...I'm not practicing the lifestyle, and I want to be right with God.
Am I ok?

A little bit of light, playful BDSM between a husband and wife is fine.  But if you get too heavy into it, someone is going to be hurt, and then your father is right - it is destroying the Temple of God, namely your body.

Back to your question - is BDSM ungodly or impure?  Between a husband and wife, as long as no one is physically injured, the answer is no.  It's not the best sex that God has to offer, however.
