QUESTION: Please look this church up cause if i explain evrything it runs out :worldwide society church of god :leader ahnsahnhong and chunggilcha:after your read about them thak you for doing so well they persecuted me they got me to go to there church and i got stuck in it for two weeks thye told me they had the answers and they did i would try to ask questionbecause i couldnt believe what they were saying but sxinxe they had an answer to everything i would ask and it all cam from the bible and even to prove their leaders.that thyknow christ they know the world gonna end 2012 they proved it and they are the end time prophet but it seemd so believable  i had the shakes and i couldnt sleep or eat i felt like something was chasing me i dont know like panick not knowing what to do iwould got to diff churches for help none did but they either said i was crazynohelp had 2weeks no sleep  and just frightened i need to know the truth i love mygod dont want to disapoint him show me what i can do to findthe truth

ANSWER: P.S. Amber, Are you sure you spelled the church name/ names of founders/teachers typed above right ? I googled it just as you wrote it, to double check on my earlier advice, and I could not find anything.    First of all, is it just Worldwide Church of God - no 'Society' ?  I can't really decipher the names of the guys.

I just wanted to say, look in the Bible yourself to see if what their answers to everything really match up with what the Bible teaches - setting the endtimes date thing aside -- Because the Bible does have the answers to everything, and it's possible they are leading you in God's way -- I said that if you are not feeling peace that it's not of God, but I should not have said it quite that way.    If your life is in line with God's Word and will, you should have a peace.
But IF your life is in rebellion to God, He actually _doesn't_ promise His peace. So you have to be discerning about this.

   I looked up Worldwide Society Church of God, but all I found was Worldwide Church of God -- Is 'Society' in the name ?
    The fact that you were only there for two weeks is something you can count as a blessing; but also the fact that in that short amount of time also shows that there is something VERY wrong with them, and you were right to leave.   We are to 'let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts' - this certainly doesn't sound like something that was leading you towards Christ.   I think as a general rule, if you meet someone who seems to think they 'have the answers' to everything, run the opposite direction. None of us has ALL the answers, and we will learn more and more only as we are open to admitting that we don't already know it all.
    Some will USE the Bible to teach things, but take verses way out of context.  Like, yeah, the Bible may say such and such a thing technically, but if you look at the other verses around it, you will see that it means such and such, not .... whatever else.
    Jesus said that 'no one knows the day or the hour' when (He) would come back, only God. Some argue that maybe we can know the year, but I do not see this in the Bible at all.  We are just told to be ready !!  If we knew, then we would probably procrastinate on telling our friends about Jesus, even more than we already do !  The Bible says that Jesus will come 'like a thief in the night . . . at an hour that you do not expect Him . . . Therefore, be ready!'
     My advice to you is, study the Bible for yourself, and pray for just another friend or two to study the Bible with... from there  you may find a good church, that really teaches the Bible, by the power of the Holy Spirit.   The shakiness, and panic, and sleepless nights, certainly are not in HIS way.  He loves you so much.   And 'He gives His beloved sleep'.  
Stay in the Word; let it speak for itself. Pray for wisdom if you are looking to pick a church. And trust your instincts, through the Holy Spirit.   If a church doesn't feel like it's 'right' to you, leave it. There are many good Bible preaching churches out there with normal, everyday, 'real' people.
    Make sure Jesus is in your own heart, then trust that as His child He promises to lead you, and He promised that His Spirit would 'guide (you) into all truth.'

QUESTION: Thank You for your answer this happened a couple months ago and i am better now, i know it just really shook me and woke me up buti just wanted to be assured that i wasnt turning my back on God for leaving there church because the fear i felt those weeks were really something i have never feared anything in my life but that i please God in the things that i do i have always slept fine i even sleep more than i should sometimes but that was an very imressionable feeling i had those weeks scared lost... nowhere to go because noone had the answers except this church and it frightened me even more becaue they are saying the end is near and decide if i believe this ladie is God or not really is what there saying but when i read the bible there is a dragon with a ladie and sometimes i get the feeling she is her but i cant judge people because what if she is God and they are right who am i to say i am right or they are wrong i dont but i know God is with me because ive had tough childhood but i survived and i know it because of him i felt him hold me when i couldnt any more so i can trust he is with me..... they said that a mother will  do anything for there child and thats why mother is here she is from south korea the church is called world mission society church of god please keep writing to me i am very interested in getting peace to this subject but i do see a change in me scince this happened like God wanted me to wake up and look for him cause i wasnt really..... just talking to him daily.... but not looking for him and scince this happened i search for him in everything so i guess the experience was good but are they good please get back to me i am more at peace with myself scince all this happened but i stil have unanswered questions but im sure God in time will answer

Dear Amber,

   After looking at that a little online, I am SO glad you got out of that church.

God is not female, and there are no incarnations of Christ on earth at the moment.  The Bible is very clear about these points.   God is Spirit, of course Jesus is male, in the flesh.  But all throughout the Bible God is referred to not as a mother, but as a father.
Please read Matthew 24.
For example, vs. 4-5, "Jesus answered, ' Let no one deceive you. For many will come in my name, claiming, "I am the Christ", and will deceive many.' "
Please also be sure to read verse 23 and following. I would write it out for you , but there is just so much there to see.   Actually, will you read it, and then get back to me ?
