Question
Hi, our 18 year old son wishes to have a tattoo. I understand at his age, he is an adult and can do whatever he wishes. Our question is there anything biblical against or for having a tattoo? Our son quotes Lev: 19:28. Can you help with this scripture, cutting of the hair and clip off the edges of your bread.
The Israelite s were being given rules for them to follow. This is God laying it out for them how to treat each other. They were aloe being shown how to treat the foreigners in their land. If he is using this to get a tattoo then he is wrong. This is telling the people not to make any mark on their body.
