What can I tell my daughter & grand-daughter about God's view of tattoo's & body piercing. My daughter has 2 tats, a skull on her deltiod area, & a tribal on her shoulder. They both have multiple piercings in their ears. Now my granddaughter self pierced her nose, her mother has b-button pierced. I told them it looks trashy, and unChrist like.

I would have to agree with you about how it looks. I do not believe one should make there body because our bodies are the temple of Christ. Now I also would say that there relationship with Christ is the most important and there are times when we have to focus on the battles we can win. I am sure that they are well aware of your feelings and they are important to you. I spent 12 years in Youth ministry and I found that what someone looked like paled in comparison to their relationship to Christ. The best argument you have is they are marking the Temple of the Holy Spirit and this is something they really have to consider in their walk with Christ.
