Hello i am 16 years old. I been thinking about paradise and i was wonder the following. Do angels eat,sleep,wear clothes etc.... considering their meant to be music in heaven. Will the new earth be heaven when Jesus takes over or will it be a pure earth with no sin. thank you

A lot of people don't have definite answers for this because there aren't very many people who have seen angels. I can tell you what I know about them, thought, and hope it helps you a little bit.

First of all, angels are just like us. They are people who have died and are now in heaven. I'm going to explain somethhing to you that might sound strange but it's true. We have spirits in our bodies. Our spirits are actually who we are. Our bodies are kind of like the house for the spirit to live in. Your spirit is who you are. Now with that, when we die, our spirits go to heaven and we become angels. Because we don't have a body, we don't have to eat and I don't think we'll really miss it. We won't feel hungry because when we're in heaven, we don't have to do the physical things we have to do here. I really don't know if they sleep or not but like with the food, I'm sure that they wouldn't need to sleep because that's a physical need of the body and angels don't have bodies. The body is left here when we die and the spirit moves on.

Right now, heaven is 'in the sky'. There is a star that's called Kolob and it's said that this is the closest star to where heaven is. So that's where it is right now. After a long time with Jesus on the earth, the earth will turn into one of the kingdoms of heaven. There will be no fighting or war or anything bad at all. That is when heaven will be on earth. So it's kind of both with what you asked. There will be no sin because everyone who will be there will also be perfect and want to be good with Jesus there with them.
