Question
I read a blog already about a girl who wanted to turn her boyfriend towards God. I agreed it helped with my situation as well but my relationship with my boyfriend is a little more complicated.

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and I just found God's glory. My question really is if it still a sin if I was already in the relationship at the time? We have sustained sexually and he has agreed that he thinks its for the best....maybe i am supposed to change him as well...I am not certain and only God knows, but is there any advice I could get?

Answer
Sierra,

I would like to make something clear. You can't win someone to Christ. You witness to them and show them the love of Christ and they have to make the decision for themselves. God is the one who makes the change in their life and heart. You also can't expect to win someone to Christ by continuing to live a life of sin. If you are not married and having a sexual relationship then this is sin. Would you show a drunk how not to drink by drinking, well then you can't show a sinner how to get away from sin by continuing to live a life in sin. You are the one who has to make the decision here. If this is the man that God has made for you then you can stop the sexual relationship until marriage and he will still love you. If he was only there for the sex then that will become obvious very fast if you no longer have sex with him.
