Question
hi sir;
if a person commits a sin and asks God to forgive ,will he still have to face  the consequences of it even if he is pardoned,A few years ago i took the help of my supervisor(teacher) in the exam hall ,i know copying /cheating in exam is wrong so i dont but in that situation i asked my teacher and he helped me. i didnt feel guilty for a couple of years,but now i am facing a lot of direct and indirect problems in regard to that subject,is this a punishment ?

Answer
Hi leja,

The Bible states that we all will stand in judgement before God, but if we have already accepted Christ, we will not suffer the punishment becuase we've already been forgiven.

If you're still worrying about that cheating incident from years ago, that is most likely you punishing yourself.  God has already forgiven you, you need to forgive yourself.

hope this helps
