Question
I'm 17 and I masturbate a lot. I am baptized and don't want to loose my salvation. Please help. The other question is that I like a girl that's not christian. I want to know if the experience I had was an answer from God. I hadn't seen this girl for like two years. I ran into her this past school year and noticed that she had changed. I prayed to God that if he wanted me to talk to her about him to get me closer to her. the next week my teacher sat me next to her. I want to know if this was God answering me. Please help. Thank you for your time and god bless you. And if it is God's answer how do I talk to her do I wait for the right moment or just tell her the next time I see her. And how do I tell it to her. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Eric,

Thank you for these questions.  Yes masturbation is wrong.  If you have asked Jesus to save you, He has already paid for every sin you will ever commit and has already given you His perfect righteousness.  You cannot lose your salvation.

2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

God will not go against His word.  If this girl has not become a believer, it is still wrong for you to date her.

2 Corinthians 6:14-17
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said,  I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

If you are not sure, it may be wise for you to strike up a conversation with her , not in order to date her, but in order to win her to Jesus is she is not a believer.  If she is, then you will find out.

I hope that this helps you.
