QuestionQUESTION: ok thats what the bible says about "born again" ones, now are you open to looking at the scriptures that talk about those who are NOT born again? those who will inherit everlasting life on EARTH?
Matt. 5:5: Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Answer. Matt 5:1,2 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set,
his disciples came unto him:
Mat 5:2 And he opened his mouth,
and taught them, saying, He was talking to His disciples Brenda, as clearly seen. For only those born of the Spirit, can rightly call God their father!
Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify
your Father which is in heaven.
Ps. 37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
Answer. The land spoken of here, is not the land promised to Israel of old. The only land promised is the land flowing with milk and honey, and it isn't a piece of dirt off the Mediterranean. The land of promise of peace and safety is the person of Jesus Christ.
Prov. 2:21,22 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
Same answer, the land is not a piece of dirt, but the man Christ Jesus..
Ps. 37:9, For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Answer. There is no peace, save being in the Prince of Peace. One must remember that the Israelites of the old testament were *divorced* by God because of their adultery. Since one cannot marry a divorced woman because of her adultery, the Lord is preparing a new Israel, a spiritual Israel. This comes with a new inheritance, and it isn't the earth that is going to be rolled up and thrown away as an old garment..
Acts 2:34: For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
Answer. All, save two, from Adam until Christ died in sin. And death was the place of the sinner. They all were held in the place of death, until Jesus died and went into death to preach to them and deliver them out of the prison.
Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
and 1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
Matt. 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
Answer.Luk 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
Luk 1:16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
Luk 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
Mat_10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Luk_12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
(Not a bad place to be in.)
Mic. 4:3, 4
John 10:16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
Answer.Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
[ quite plain that Jesus was talking of the Jew of old, and the gentiles who turn to the Lord.)
2 Pet. 3:13: Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Answer' And again this reflects back to the meek inheriting what earth. It sure isn't this one.
Rev. 7:9, After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
Answer.. Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev. 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth
Answer.Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
There is no secondfruits, only firstfruits.
Here is a precept one might worry about...
Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Joh 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Joh 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Joh 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
(Notice, that both branches are grafted into the same Vine. However, one is producing the fruit of the Vine, and the other, although grafted into the same Vine isn't, and the warning, it is about to be cut off and thrown in the fires...)
Which coincides with ...
2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2Pe 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
2Pe 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes Brenda, He did say that! But He also said, " Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up!"
Maybe we are on different pages because you are not *seeing* the spirit of the letter, as yet!?
In the love of Christ

Apostle of Christ.
Answerequally you are not "seeing" what Jesus was saying,not all the "meek" are going to heaven, some will live here on the earth & they will be ruled over by the heavenly ones. Rev 5;9,10
Jesus was talking about the "temple" his body, it was raised in three days.
