Expert: Pastor Don Carpenter - 12/13/2011
Questioni recently met this guy, and have dated with him.. so, i tried telling him that we shouldnt do it, but he keeps on persisting that nothing will happen..so i believed him, then one thing lead to another and we did it.. after that i started crying remembering the verses that i have read about being pure and be away from sexual immorality, keeping the body holy and now i am at lost on what i should do.. i really need help and counseling..
thank you..

Thanks for this question. I am sorry that this has happened. You are just one of hundreds of girls that I have heard say the same thing. The guy will say anything to get what he wants... once he takes your virginity... there is no getting it back. We should be warned how sneaky the devil is.
The good news is that Jesus died for that sin and can forgive you. If you trust in Him and ask Him to forgive you, He will.
1 John 1:9 (AV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Now what you need to do is avoid this guy... He will try to use you until he is tired of you. He already showed you that he does not really care about your purity... he is all about getting his lusts met... not about loving you. Dump him and seek a Christian guy who values purity.
Psalm 1:1 (AV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
1 Peter 2:11 (AV)
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
I hope that this helps you. I will be praying for you.
In Christ
