Question
according to the old testament circumcision was a covenant between the Lord and Abraham.if the bible tells it,it means that we should follow them.
but nowadays why we christians do not entertain circumcision.
even today muslims all over the world follow them.

and the rosary beads that the church people use are not of the bible since there is no proof of it in the bible.

kindly reply

Answer
Hi Finney

Thank you for these great questions.  Lets talk about the Rosary first.  You are absolutely right... there is no Biblical basis for it, and it violates several scriptural principles.  We are told not to use repeated prayers over and over.\

Matthew 6:7 (AV)
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

We are also told to only pray through Jesus, not His mother.  Mary worship is against scripture and violates this verse:

1 Timothy 2:5 (AV)
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

While some folks wear the lable "Christian" they do not follow the Bible, but rather tradition.  We just need to love and teach these folks the best be can.

Now as to circumcision... the Bible tells us that these Old Testament ceremonial laws were nailed to the cross and taken out of the way when Jesus died.

Colossians 2:14–16 (AV)
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

I hope that this helps you.  I am very sorry for my late response.
