Question
Hey!  Your profile said you help with homosexuality.  I got a problem.  My mom don't understand that I'm gay.  I told her that I was attracted to girls when I was 13.  She was very upset.  Well, I got my first girlfriend when I was 15 and I never told mom.  I'm almost 17 now and we're still dating.

Mom recently found out my friend was more than a friend because someone saw us kissing at the park and told her about it.  Now mom is trying to break us up.  She won't let my girlfriend come over anymore and she won't let me leave the house.  The only way I can see her is by sneaking out.  I don't think it is fair to only be able to see her this way.

I love her.  I don't want to lose her.  This is causing a strain on both of us.  This is also putting a huge strain between mom and me.  My mom is very religious and I think she believes I'm going to hell.

How do I get mom to accept me being gay and stop trying to break us apart?  It isn't going to work, but it is going to do is ruin the relationship mom and I have shared.

Answer
You asked--"How do I get mom to accept me being gay and stop trying to break us apart?"

How can I possibly give you an answer to that as God condemns "Homosexuality". God doesnt "accept you being Gay" and God most certainly wants you two "apart" also.

I am a mother of 4 and I taught each of them the scriptures,I have used the bible to help my youths to get answers to their questions, so I am sure I can answer other youths also. The bible answers such questions as," what does God think of-- Homosexuality, sex before marriage, smoking, dating, drinking etc.Youths want answers, but sometimes it is difficult to find just where the bible speaks about such things, and that is where I come in, I will point them to the appropriate scriptures.

Experience

Mother of 4 and grandmother of 12,who conducted regular bible studies with her own children.
