AnswerI DONT GO TO CHURCH ANY MORE, IS THIS BAD?
Dear Alison, you remind me of what I was like when I was at school, I worried to if Jesus loved me, because we missed church often as my parents had a farm and were always busy.
I thought that “going to church” was the right thing to do because my parents did it, however when I reached 16, I stopped going to church because I could see they didn't teach the bible.
What I've found out from studying the bible is, there are many FALSE religions so just being a part of A church is not good enough, it has to be the correct church to be pleasing to God and Jesus.
To explain, I went along to the protestant church for years believing it was the way to please God, only to find out that the Protestant church is displeasing to God anyway, and God actually says, “Get out of her my people” so I left the protestant church and started studying the bible to see what the TRUE church would look like.
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF I AM ACCEPTED BY JESUS AS ONE OF HIS PEOPLE?
The only way anyone can know if they are “accepted” is to study God's word the bible, then as they find out what God requires, they can compare it to how they live their life, and if they differ, then they have the choice to make changes in their life accordingly. God promises this, “Only those DOING the will of God will remain forever” 1 John 2; 15-17 and only the bible tells us what the “will of God” is, okay.
If you would like help in studying the bible to see what God requires, I will be happy to help you. thanks
