Question
Do you think that we should have religion in school?explain?

Answer
Hi Jasmine, thanks for writing.

I'm presuming you mean public school - any religious school by definition would normally teach religion classes.

I believe that public school should have a religion or theology class in middle school that discusses all the world religions without advocating or endorsing any one.  I believe that religion is very much a part of sociology and needs to be understood as a human being.

As for a specific belief system, I believe that religious education belongs at home and is the responsibility of parents.  This education should start as early as possible, as early as a child can understand the concept of God - normally about 3 or 4.

I'm very curious - please write again and tell me why you asked this question?  Also, let me know if I answered it to your satisfaction.

blessings,
carl
