Christianity --Youth Issues/she doesn't believe.

Question
I am very religious and one of my closest friends does not believe in God. She just doesn't believe in anything that can't be scientifically proven. It makes me mad that she doesn't believe in him, but I feel like there is nothing I can to to make her believe. I'm also scared for her. I don't want her to go to hell. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks a lot!
Ty

Answer
Hi Ty,

Thank you for this very heart felt question.  THere is nothing that you can do to MAKE her believe.  THere are four things things that you can do that will bring her to the place where she may choose to believe.

1.  Pray for her.

John 6:44
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

2.  Live a biblical life in front of her.

Matthew 5:16
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

3.  Use the scriptures.

Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

4.  Passionately try to persuade her on those occasions that she will listen to you,

2 Corinthians 5:11
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

Romans 10:17
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

THese may sound like simple things...but they are powerful and profound.

I hope that this helps.

In Christ,
Pastor Don
