AnswerHi Lulu,
Thanks for this great question. I am not sure how I can help you, but I will try to give you some Biblical principles by which to live.
1. Pray about this relationship. Pray that if this is not God's will, that God would close the door. This way if it continues, you do not need to feel guilty or worry like you have been.
Revelation 3:7
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
2. Make sure that you are not doing anything in your relationship that would displease God. Make sure that your physical relationship is absolutely prue, do not get involved in any kind of kissing or any type of sexual or pre sexual activity.
1 Corinthians 7:1-2
Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
3. Realize that Satan is an accuser. If you are innocent, he would still want you to feel like you have done something wrong.
Revelation 12:9-11
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
I hope that this helps you some. If you get a chance, would you please help me by rating this answer? Thanks.
In Christ
