... i want to know what has god said about smoking and sex before marriage.
\          once one of my friend said how can there b a son to god(how can jesus b gods sun) . i will b so thankfull if u can answer this .
           also       in bible god has said that there is only one life for a human.... but jesus has died ,then how can he come in the end ....

Hi Ashish,

Let me answer your questions one at a time.

1. Smoking - God tells us in His word that anything that harms our bodies is wrong.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

2.  Sex before marriage - there is only one place that sex is a beautiful gift, that is within the context of marriage.


1 Corinthians 7:1-2


Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

Hebrews 13:4
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

3.  Jesus is God in the flesh.

John 1:1-3,14


In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Notice that the Bible tells us that Jesus is both God and that He is with God.  This is the trinity.


1 John 5:7
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1 Timothy 3:16
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Notice that the words used to fortell the coming of Jesus says that He is the Father and the Prince (a prince is a son!)

Isaiah 9:6
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

It makes more sense when we see what Jesus says about Himself:

John 10:30
30 I and my Father are one.

4.  The ressurection.

As we have seen, Jesus is not just human, He is God in the flesh...that is how He could have authority over His own death.  Observe what He said about His own death:


John 10:17-18
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
