thanks for reading my question. i was wondering what the bible says about how to deal with a friend that is using you but nobody else can see it happening.

THank you for this very personal and pointed question. I believe Jesus gives clear instructions in matters like this. We are to pray for those who use us.
Matthew 5:44
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
