i said i wouldnt sin for 2 months if you help me pass the fcat then

Answer
Charles-

Thanks for writing.

I think God is probably more disappointed in you because you made the deal in the first place rather than you sinning.  God can forgive anything, if you're sincere about it.  You shouldn't be making promises that you cannot keep - promising that you'd be sin free for two months is practically impossible to do.  You didn't have to promise God that you wouldn't sin if you wanted His help - He'd help you without the promise.  God loves you, wants you to do well, and doesn't want you to sin, but God knows that you're going to sin because you're human, and all of us sin.

I think you should ask God for forgiveness and He WILL forgive you.  Then next time you need help, ask for HIS help, and the promise you make should be a promise to trust in Him that He will help you.  That should work a lot better.

Hope this helps.

Blessings,

carl
