Question
I have a 2000 Chrysler 300M the check enegine light comes on and goes out. A local shop said the computer is telling it the brakes are always on. I had a complete front brake job (pads, rotor, cali.) and the light is still on. They Inspected the rear brakes, every thing was fine. Any suggestions?

Answer
You stated: "A local shop said the computer is telling it

This is one I have never heard before.

You will need to extract the CODE(s) from the computer.

If the check engine light was NOT ON before the brakes were replaced, I would take a look at the wheel sensors of where the work was done.

Did the light start to come ON after a recent repair ?.
