I don't have detailed information (e.g. manuals) nor expertise for Jeeps, trucks, SUV's, import vehicles, or for years more recent than 2000.
I am available to take a question between 8AM CST and 9PM CST . If I am shown as "maxed out" try again later in the day as I add question opportunities one at a time so as to respond quickly, but I do have other responsibilities as well so may not be available for several hours at times. Expert: Roland Finston Date: 5/4/2008 Subject: 95 Sebring Won't Start
Question I have a 95 Chrysler sebring LXI, 2.5L, V6 coupe. I had to change the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor because of a miss in Feb. since then, only when it gets really damp, the car kind of starts rough, but starts and that's the end of it. I had to do a break job, jacked it up, did the job, and brought it back down, not touching a thing under the hood. Then I go to start it, then just out of the blue, nothing, the starter works fine to try and start it, but it won't start. I checked all the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, all appear to be fine, like new, no moisture in the cap. The battery and starter are both within a year old. When I took off the upper intake manifold I can smell gas, so I can tell from that that it's getting fuel. I have power and it tries to start, it just won't make an attempt to try and spark and start. I tried to get a fault code using the ignition, but it gives me nothing and doesn't flash. Help meeeeee!
Answer Hi Darren,
Did you 'On-off-on-off-on and leave on', doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time? If not, try it again. We really need fault codes to get anywhere economically. "on" means in the "run" position.
If there are no flashes of the check engine light then I would wonder about the ECM being faulty. Let me know.

PS The battery voltage being lower than normal can also cause there to be no flashing of the check engine light; so if you have a charger try charging the battery overnight and then see if you can get any flashing.
