I take questions about domestic Chrysler-product front wheel drive cars and minivans for the years 1982-2000 based upon my experience and shop manuals. I don't have detailed information (e.g. manuals) nor expertise for Jeeps, trucks, SUV's, import vehicles, or for years more recent than 2000. I am available to take a question between 8AM CST and 9PM CST . If I am shown as "maxed out" try again later in the day as I add question opportunities one at a time so as to respond quickly, but I do have other responsibilities as well so may not be available for several hours at times. Hi Kamil,
Fortunately these codes point toward a problem that is not major such as to require removing/rebuilding the transmission. Essentially one of the hydraulic valves that is operated electrically is malfunctioning either due to a problem internal to it or possibly due to the electrical circuits that control it being faulty, or a pressure switch involved in its operation being faulty, or an electrical switch or the controller for the switch being faulty. There is a 10-step test procedure to sort out which is the cause that a competent transmission repair person who has a manual/training can perform efficiently to correct this. The important point is that you find a shop that is knowledgable and reputable with Chrysler brand electronic transmissions. I would ask around for references and if that is not practical I would approach the independent (not franchise) shops and tell them the codes and ask how much the diagnostic tests would be to decide which of the above repairs will correct the problem and at what cost. Then see which shops will accept the hypotheses that I have laid out as a basis for going forward as opposed to saying that they believe you need to rebuild it or hold out little prospect short of that.
