Chrysler Repair - 2001 Chrysler Sebring Heating Issues
Expert: Kevin - 11/3/2009
Question Hello, I've been having issues with my climate control. The heater only blows hot air until my car heats up to a certain point then begins to blow cold air. The thermostat has been replaced.
Do you know what the heater/ac controls assembly does exactly? Does it regulate the temperature of the air that is blown? Could a faulty heater control assembly be the problem? (The ac is also screwy).
Im not sure its the heater core because I don't find anti freeze on my passenger floor. Would a faulty heater core cause this probelm?
Thanks,
Fran
Answer yes I know how the system works. the temp of the heat coming out is in direct relation to the temp of the engine. U dont have an automatic AC system so it wont change as the inside of the cabin will change U have the manual knows that u turn from red to blue.
U say it gets hot inside and then when does it cool down?
