Question
I have a 2005 Town and Country and my automatic door locks have just stopped working.  The only way I can lock my doors is by manually pushing the door lock down.  The remote doesn't lock/unlock the doors.  The remote does sound the horn when I try to lock the doors but the doors still do not lock.

Please help!!

Answer
Hi Steve,
The power for the door lock motors is provided by two fuses in the power box in the engine compartment: #19 and 20 which are 40 amp. So look those over to see if blown or even have a subtle crack in the wire. Test them if you have a voltmeter, as they should be 'hot' at all times. I assume that your interior lights are working, but if not check fuse 28. And I assume that your power windows are working, but if not, check the power window circuit breaker which is located under the dash, to the right of body control moudule(box with several multi-pin plugs, on or near the brake pedal mounting bracket. The fuse #28 and the power window circuit breaker are necessary for the door lock switches which transmit the lock/unlock signals to the body controller. I zm referencing the '02 manual which I believe applies as well to your '05.
