Question My engine light came on and then the over drive off light comes on also. I scanned the computer i got a code back and the code i got back was P0753 which says shift solenoid a electrical. I changed the solenoid and tranducer and cleared the computer and am still getting the same problem also the truck starts out in drive like it is in 2 different gears. What can be my problem?
Answer Hi Raymond,
Did you check the wiring between the parts that you changed and the trans control module/power supply circuits? The code says the issue is an open or short in the circuits of the solenoid so if not the solenoid and transducer I would check the wires that are attached to them. Unfortunately I don't have any wiring diagrams to tell me the connections.
