Question I have a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica 3.5 that has a clogged AC condensor drain pipe or hose. I carefully banged on the plastic housing where the cabin air filter is and it unclogged for one day and then clogged again. I repeated the process the following day with the same results. Is there a hose/pipe that I can find/remove and clean it out? If so where is it and how can I get access to it?
Answer Hi Jorge,
I don't know specifically but based upon other models my belief would be that the drain hole is on the outside of the firewall accessible from under the vehicle, probably near the midline of the vehicle at approximately the same level as the plastic housing that is inside the cabin. It probably is a stubby rubber tube and you would need to insert a wire into the lumen of the tube to clean out the stoppage.
