Chrysler Repair - engine

Expert: Roland Finston - 7/6/2009

Question
Is it possible to have no code reading.  My car runs for 10 to 15 minutes and then dies, with no code reading or check engine light  I've changed the fuel pump, EGR valve, and muffler.  Every machanic that I talk to is stumpt.
  Please help
Thank you

Answer
If the powertrain module is working properly it should put one code or response that verifies that it is transmitting information and that it has found no codes. Tell me the year/make/model/engine and I can describer how to get the codes and what the minimum response should be.
