Question
My chrysler pacific jerks when at 35000 . I have changed the crankshaft position sensor but it still has not stop.I have 5 codes that comes up  P0113-intake air temp. high,P0016- crankshaft/camshaft corrolation.P0406 - recalculation sensor high. P0339- crankshaft position sensor circuit intermittent .P0335- crankshaft position sensor A

Answer
Hi Ray,
Three of the codes suggest that there is a bad wire/connection in the crankshaft position sensor circuit. I would suggest that you test all there wires for patentcy to the pcm, shake the harness while checking and check for a short to ground (except the ground wire) or to 5v (except on the 5v supply wire), and then check the 5v supply wire is solid 5v.
The sensor ground wire dark blue/dark green goes to pin 27 of the pcm. The sensor signal wire
brown/light blue goes to pin 26 of the pcm, and the 5v supply wire to the sensor pink/yellow comes from pin 29 of the pcm. Those wires come from pins 2,3, and 1 respectively of the plug at the sensor. The intake air temp sensor is located at the top right front of the engine and has 2 wires, dark blue/dark green and brown white. Measure across the pins of the sensor to see what the resistance reads in ohms when cold and when hot. the resistance should drop as the temp rises. Let me know the ohm readings. The 0406 says that the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid voltage is off value high so check its wiring and its vacuum hoses. It is located on the side of the engine closer to the bumper, at the rear of the engine. If that valve were stuck ajar that might cause a poor mixture as would an inaccurate air intake sensor, and thus a miss. I would also suggest that you disconnect the battery to erase all the codes. Then reconnect, drive for a while and see what codes are still present.
