QUESTION: chrysler 300limited, power windows(drv,pass side)work fine as long as u press buttons up r down , windows go up 2in then stop go up 2in then stop until they close fully.happen when lower windows also. windows do not work automatily as they should, I have lubed channels, didnt test relays, fuses r ok. looked through all FAQ didnt find same problem

ANSWER: Hi Michael,
I had a chance to look over the wiring for the power window and have found they are run by the 'accesory relay' which in turn is protected along the path to the window switches by "circuit breaker no. 3" which could be the problem. Those two items are in the power distribution box along with many fuses. You will find three circuit breakers in a row in one corner of that box, and c.b.no.3 is in the very corner of the box. It may be that circuit breaker is 'weak' and opening on its own accord for no good reason, then self-resetting, etc., etc. If the other two circuit breakers appear to have the same part number you could swap them and see if that solves the problem. If not, then there is some sort of an excessive current draw by the window motor drive circuit. But first locate the breaker and try seitching out.

QUESTION: power distribution box, in the trunk has the 30a cb, I replaced with a new one no change.

Hi Michael,
The only other 'power switching on-off' device is the "accesory relay-delay" located in the same power distribution center, third in the row down the middle of the box (check the labelling on the box). There are other relays with the same part number adjacent to it, so just switch it with another relay of the same part number, just as I recommended you do with the circuit breaker so as to avoid buying a part that is not necessary. So try that approach and let me know what you find.
IF that doesn't solve it, then get a free fault code readout at an Autozone or similar nationwide parts store. Get the fault code number, name of the code, and then let me know what you found. There should be such a code when you have the windows operating improperly. I have the code manual so we can see what it recommends doing.
