Question
I  have been having water leaking into passenger side of my van. which i believe now maybe shorted out my heater. I fixed leak but heater fan controls nothing comes on and it has been working even with the leak until now. Where is the fuse  for the heater? or what else could be wrong? thanks

Answer
Hi Crystal,
I am not clear as to whether you simply 'lost' the blower motor, or if the entire control panel seems to be not functional. If it is only the blower motor then the fuse that powers it is  no.21 (40 amp) in the power box in the engine compartment or it could be the blower motor 'resistor block'. There is an electrical switch (relay) that also needs power for the blower to run and that is powered by fuse 12 (10 amp) in the fuse box unter the dash on the driver side.
If the entire unit seems to not work, then check fuse 6 (20 amp) in the box under the dash. If all the fuses are good, but as soon as you turn the key to 'run' the fuse 6 blows again,  then there is a spot on the control unit circuit board where it is easy for a short to happen which blows the fuse. If you take out the control you can dry out that short situation. I will decribe that so you can do it.
