QUESTION: 2002 dodge caravan leak pump evapor system 3.3 v6

Answer
Hi James,
I see that you got a 1495 code. That is different than what I had imagined. It is about the solenoid valve that controls the flow of vapor. It can be caused by a defective leak detection pump, wiring to the pump, and wiring to the solenoid. There are a couple of pages in the repair manual that shows the testing to find out which. One requires the diagnostic readout box III (to test the pump itself) and other tests require a volt-ohm meter. If you want those pages I can copy them from the '04 manual I have on a CD and attach them to an email that I will send to you directly (not via the Allexperts site), To do that I need to know you email address. In a follow-up question in the text tell me your email address. Keep the question PRIVATE so that the email address isn't automatically erased from the message. If there is no Private box to check, then ask a brand new questionw which will give you that option.
