Chrysler Repair/PT Cruiser ABS/Traction Control lights

Question
2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser 2429cc (UK spec)
Hi
I've got the ABS and traction control lights lit up on my dash. So far I've had the R/H rear ABS sensor replaced (the fault code reader showed this to be the problem#, and had the wiring checked from front to back. I've tried the 'ignition key dance'#'done' came up on the speedo dial) and also disconnected & reconnected the battery in the hope of resetting things. All this has made no difference, any ideas where to look next?

Many thanks

Answer
Hi Andy,
You might try another fault code readout but using the plug-in socket under the dash to see if there is something new there. The key dance approach will not reveal all fault codes, just those related to the powertrain. When you disconneced the battery the old code should have erased.
Check fuses 34 and 35 which are needed to power the ABS components, and you might also check that you have 12V on pin 8 of the ABS module when the key is in the run position. That module is underneath the power distribution box on the left side of the engine compartment, directly under the master brake cylinder. It has a 47-pin plug but relatively few of the pins have wires attached to them. The fuses should be found to provide 12V on pins 1 and 32. Also check fuse 3 which powers the brake lights or check that the brake lights are working.
If the fuses are providing power and you still have warning lights 'on' then there should be a specific code in the memory of the abs controller.

PS Sorry for the delay but I just found your question in the pool to which it had been referred by Kevin.
