Question
I have recently done the A/C test on my car, my A/C light and Recirc light flash simultaneously and even after the test this still happens how can i fix this? Due to the flashing i cannot turn my A/C off when required. any help greatly received.

Hi Chris,
The simultaneous flashing of those two lights mean the test of the A.C. cooldown failed. You might try to simultaneously press the rear window defogger, recirc, and rear wiper. If that doesn't work then apparently the cause for the failure needs to be found by further testing. When you say that you can't turn your A/C off, do you mean that the compressor won't stop running? If so, perhaps you have it set for windshield defrost, which automatically causes the compressor to turn on, and thus if you quit that request the compressor will stop. So, those are a few ideas. Let me know if none of them are helpful.
