Question
my Chrysler Concorde 3.5l goes into limp mode were itonly drives in second gear and no reverse the check engine light isn't on either the car only acts this way when it gets to a certain temp once i stop the car will jump a lil then i know its in limp mode also going uphill the car putters and losses power so i let off the gas a little then slowly give it more gas and another thing when sitting at a light the car kinda shakes i have no idea i have brought it to a garage they say it needs a new tranny but im hesitant cuz the car runs fine until it gets to hot i changed the spark plugs and im ganna get a tranny flush because the guy i got it from said he put the wrong tranny fluid in it im just hopping you can help me with a solution the car has 83k please help me!!!

Hi Derek,
Get the transmission fluid changed out completely with a power flush, then see how it works.  Use only ATF +4 type fluid. If it still is not right then get a fault code readout of the transmission controller memory to see what codes there might be stored as they will give the best diagnostic clues. Let me know what fault codes appear and we'll go from there.
