Question
My 2006 Dodge Charger recently started mifiring under acceleration.. I got a code that was 0300 and 0306.Since I have 95000 miles on it I had the plugs changed and it made no difference. It is getting worse all the time, although it idles fine and runs well after highway speed is reached.. Any ideas where to start?

Answer
Hi John,
If you said that it idled poorly and is misfiring under acceleration I would sluggest that you check the egr valve. But you say it is under acceleration that it misses but that it idles ok.
The fault code troubleshooting section is about 10 pages in length and goes through a large number of possibilities. I could copy these off a CD that I have and attach them to an email. If you would like me to do that send me a 'private option' follow-up question where you tell me the email address as I don't routinely see that information.
