it will run some time . you go out after you have dove it and the gages will not come on and dose not start. but come back in four hr it will start

Answer
Do you mean the starter motor won't work, or that it does but the engine won't catch and idle?
Do you mean the entire cluster is dark or that the gauges only don't work?
Have you tried to do a fault code readout using the ignition key: "on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see the mileage reading change to a 4-digit number preceded by a P. If that doesn't work, watch the check engine light instead and see it starts to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat to be sure of an accurate count set. Tell the number or the count set.
