Question
hi my car was stuck in limp mode so i took it 2 a transmission bloke & i was told to replace the solenoid pack ! i did that & now i put it in drive & it slips in & out of gear ! it is a 98 grand voyager 3.3 v6 ! any suggestions on my problem would be very helpfull

Hi Kevin,
I would check for fault codes using a plug-in code reader into the socket under the dash. That would be the most direct way to see what is wrong. Also. could the gear shift cable need adjustment, or does it seem that it is properly centered with the detents as if it were off center it might do what you describe. See how it feels at the vertical shift rode at the transmission where the detents are internal at the base of the rod.
