Chrysler Repair/oil filter adapter: 3.3/3.8L

Question
I recently noticed oil dripping from filter of 2008 Chrysler Town and Country.  When I took it for oil change tech noted that the housing that the filter screws onto had been damaged where the filter seats onto the housing.  This will not allow the gasket to seat correctly resulting in a steady leak.  I wonder what type of job it is to change the unit.  Appears as though there are only 2 bolts attaching the unit to the engine block.  Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hi Rich,
The procedure is to lift the van to get access. Remove the filter. Remove the electrical connector from the pressure switch. Loosen and remove the bolts, Remove the adapter and its seal. Install is the reverse: use a new seal. Tighten bolts to 21 foot-pounds. It appears to be straight-forward.
